Can passengers check sports equipment?

Passengers may check sports equipment as part of their checked bag allowance following the size and weight restrictions.  

For sports equipment larger than a standard set of golf clubs (50” x 15” or 130 x 40cm), a US$100 (CA$135) fee will be charged.
