Are name changes permitted?

Name changes are permitted at a tax-included cost of US$200 (CA$260-CA$300, subject to your bank's charges). Errors in spelling will be changed free of charge. 

Changes from maiden name to married name will be made free of charge as long as a copy of a marriage certificate is provided as evidence.
