Can I get a refund for my pet booking?

If you voluntarily cancel or change your flight, the refund eligibility for your pet will follow the same rules as your fare family.

Involuntary Flight Cancellation or Airline-Initiated Changes

If BermudAir cancels the flight or makes an involuntary change to the itinerary, BermudAir will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the passenger and their pet on an alternative flight.

If the pet cannot be accommodated on the new flight, BermudAir will either:

  • re-accommodate the passenger and pet on an alternative flight where possible

  • provide a full refund of the pet travel service fee.

If BermudAir is unable to provide the pet travel service for operational reasons, the pet service fee will not be charged or will be fully refunded if already paid.

Voluntary Flight Cancellation:

If a passenger voluntarily cancels or changes their flight, the refund eligibility for the pet travel service will follow the same rules as the fare family purchased and will be processed as part of the overall booking refund according to the fare rules.

If a passenger chooses to keep their flight but cancels the pet travel service only, the refund for the pet service will be processed according to the following rules:

  • Economy Light: No refund

  • Economy Classic: Refunded to the original form of payment

  • Economy Max: Refunded to the original form of payment

  • Business Light: Refunded to the original form of payment

  • Business: Refunded to the original form of payment

Refunds are subject to the fare rules and, where applicable, any penalties.
